AstaMaestro is a web application that revolutionizes the traditional auction approach through an innovative system in which users must purchase credit packages to place bids. This makes the experience more strategic, engaging, and competition-oriented.
Objective
To develop a custom web application based on an advanced business model, capable of ensuring secure, transparent, and potentially rewarding online auctions for everyone.
We developed the AstaMaestro platform using Drupal 11, complete with a custom theme and modules. It is designed to manage online auctions that follow innovative dynamics, with their complexity hidden behind an intuitive interface for participants.
Advanced management for administrators
Admins can create and manage auctions, credit packages, and participation conditions. The system integrates with the CRM to monitor user activity and support data-driven marketing campaigns.
Intuitive interface for players
The user interface features a personalized dashboard, secure registration with two-factor authentication, and detailed auction views. Dedicated algorithms dynamically manage auction durations, with progress bars indicating the time remaining until each auction begins.
Incentives are provided through invitation and reward systems for completing specific actions, encouraging community growth. The platform sends automatic notifications for key events (wins, purchases, milestone achievements, etc.). A logging system is included to ensure transparency and control.
How AstaMaestro works
At the core of the web application is AstaCoin, a custom-designed virtual currency used to purchase auction credit packages. Each bid during an auction consumes one credit, making the experience more dynamic and competitive.
Pre-booked auctions, accessible only to users who register in advance, increase the chances of winning and ensure fairer competition.
In addition to the ability to purchase AstaCoin through secure payments via PayPal and Stripe for bidding, an integrated e-commerce platform allows users to buy products at full or discounted prices using leftover credits.
The web application also supports various auction types, designed for different target audiences and participation styles:
- Luxury Auctions: exclusive experiences and luxury products with limited access
- Gold Auctions: premium trips and items offered under advantageous conditions
- Flash Auctions: quick deals on tech, gift cards, and short trips, accessible even with small credit packages
